In our company, one employee left his service without completing the notice period in May 2023. As per the Payment of Bonus Act, is he eligible for his bonus or not?

Certainly YES, he is entitled to Bonus as he had worked for two months. he can be refused bonus only if he had not worked for 30 days in the financial year. Not serving Notice Period (fixed by the Company) is not a disqualification to get Bonus. Not only to get Bonus not serving notice is not a disqualification for any matter because under any Act (mainly the matters connected with the notice pay or period is mentioned in Industrial Disputes Act) an employee is under an obligation to serve notice if he wants to leave the company.
