Dear Cite HR Community Is it possible by the employer to HOLD your FNF when you are serving notice as per company norms? Kindly help with advise . Regards Shilpi

Hi,

When employee follow proper separation process including serving proper notice period, Employer have no right to hold F&F without any proper justification. Nowadays many corporates hold salary during notice period and pay partial salary and clearing F&F subject to completion of proper notice period which is not a right practice.
