Sir; I have completed my job in SIPL plant, purulia WB, 5 yrs and 6 month, now my age is 62 yrs willing to take retirement from job. Is i am entitled to get gratuity from organisation. when i join the organisation i was at the age of 57yrs.

Hi, Hope you had rendered your services as regular employee and there is no break-in-service in the middle. If so you are eligible for Gratuity.

As per PG Act you are entitled for gratuity if you have 5 years continuous service irrespective of your nature of job ( regular or otherwise), designation etc.
If the employer refuse to pay gratuity, move to controlling authority under PG Act for claiming your gratuity.
