A person joined on 13/10/2000 as security till 23/1/2017 he was continuing his service from 24/1/2017 he was absent but from 2/3/2020 he was present to duty 23/3/2020 again came to duty from 1/4/2021 now he is asking for EL and SL can we give him?

He has come back to work and is working since April 2021. Since he has worked for a year, why do you feel he should not get his leave?

The employee was absent for 3+ years and then working since 01.4.2021 continuously. Now sitting on November,2022 the employee is entitled for leave working last more than one year. It has nothing to do with his past absenteeism.
