Due to non-regular attendance of a worker, the management decided not to deduct his PF and ESIC for running month. for that my HR manager suggest me to show him "on leave" in ESIC but I am not sure about it whether it was ethical or not. and also what about him Pf contribution? please guide me in this case.

Hi, PF / ESI once deducted needs to be continued and can't be withheld for any reasons. However for irregular attendance you can mark lop for non working days so that PF/ESI contribution goes only for the actual working days.
