My actual name is Rajiv Sharma, but at the time of joining, it was changed to Rajiv Kumar. My date of birth (D.O.B.) 20/07/1979 was mistakenly changed to 20/07/1971, and my father's surname was also not updated. Now, I submitted the Joint Declaration form in the PF Office, and my application was rejected due to the unavailability of a Call responsibility letter. Can someone guide me on what this letter is? Even our Personnel Department is unaware of this requirement.

According to the tweet by EPFO, EPF members can update by submitting Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar on the Unified Member Portal if the difference in DOB is less than 3 years. You need to make sure your date of birth (DOB) details are the same in the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) records and the Aadhaar database.
