Biometric machines are being used for capturing the attendance of employees almost in every establishment and industry. Can the CiteHR colleagues throw light on the drawbacks of the biometric device? Following are a few questions that may be answered:-
1. Whether software of biometric device can become corrupt or malfunction, if so what can be the reasons?
2. Can the Admin Password be breached by any employee?
3. How many fingerprints can be stored at the time of enrollment?
4. Whether cross-mapping of fingerprints of two employees is possible, if yes, in which condition?
5. Under what conditions employees can be given a user passcode to mark their attendance?
6. Under what circumstances the fingerprint scanner of the biometric devices cannot sense the fingerprint of employees?
I shall be thankful to all the colleagues/experts to enlighten me with their answers.
