Understanding the Notice Period and Buyout Options
The question seems to be very cryptic. What is the length of the notice period, and is there any buyout option? Why was the notice period not served? Did the employee submit the resignation with immediate effect with the option to buy out the notice period? Did the employee stop coming to work as soon as he submitted the resignation? Was his resignation accepted subject to the fulfillment of the notice condition by the employee, or was it simply kept without any action?
