Work From Home (WFH) is a requirement because of the pandemic. The facility has been created for the safety of the employees. On the one hand, there was continuity of the work, and on the other, WFH avoided exposure of the employees to the contagion.
However, converting WFH to the office-based work is a company-specific decision. Your company's decisions cannot be based on other companies' decisions. You need to make your own decision based on the merits of the company's requirements. Though WFH protects the health of the employees, weariness has crept into the minds of the employees, and they are yearning for office work. To strike a balance, a few companies have started a blended mode of working, and it is left to the discretion of the employee whether to work from the office or not.
In a few companies, when they noticed that WFH has reduced the productivity of the employees, they have opted for office work. Therefore, make a decision in the interest of the organization's overall productivity.
