Dear sir , please tell me one suggestion for my employee. He is having two UAN numbers and previous company experience is more than 10 years . He is with our company for 3.5 years (Still working) so he is transferring the pension amount to the current UAN number. He wants to apply for pension scheme. But in the online EPF portal, it's showing only present company experience (3.5 years) . What to do please provide step by step procedure.

first of all he has to file form 13 ( transfer claim) to present establishment, and once the claim is settled all service details and amounts would get updated in present UAN
after that if the employee has exceeded 58 of age, then employer can make him exit of EPF and he would be free to apply for his epf claim and pension both

When he changed over the employment (more than 10 years), he should have applied for Scheme certificate and should have kept with him. When he completes 58 years of age, you can make him exit in the PF records and he should have applied scheme certificate for his present service also.
Once he completesw 58 years he should submit both scheme certitificates to EPFO who will calculate the credit monthly pension to his bank account.

filing claim does not means that the same is transferred, it has to be approved by 1) employer with DSC 2) field office, after the formal transfer of EPF, the old UAN is usually zero and the EPS account goes to the registers of pension, ask the employee to confirm himself in passbook portal that the claim is settled by department
once the transfer is executed in all means his UAN card in present member portal will start displaying the Date of Joining as recorded in previous establishment, it takes some time to reconcile the back records and update the portal
When the present UAN get updated with 10+ years of service, and his account is fully KYC complied with nomination filed, then the present employer can make exit
after the completion of above process, the employee will find the form10D on his member portal enabled to get filled
Without exit from EPF, no EPS claim can be filed, consult your legal advisor about the age limit of employees for retirement for your specific industry/sector under the specified rules

annual accounts slip of previous companies (form 23) is proof of his last service joining date,
also previous UAN copy is proof of his past service, he has to approach the department with these records, to get the benefits added,
if he has transferred these account after feb 2020, then it will not display right now, as past services annexure of EPS of department will get updated after feb 28 next year only
