Hi,
We have Registered office in Telangana,while employees are working in different states as contractors in various client locations. We have obtained PT registrations in states where we have Branch Offices and are paying PT accordingly to local authority of the state.
Do we need to register in States where we dont have any office? As the employees are directly working from Client places, we don't have office address nor are registered under Shops and Est of the said States.
As Local Office Address is mandatory Document , asked to be furnished for PT registration ,I am assuming without any Office/Branch presence PT registration is not applicable, although Employees are working in that particular State.
Pointer/Link to such clause is highly Appreciated.
