Dear Sirs,

We want to inform you that one of our employees is currently drawing a salary of Rs. 25,000.00. The employee has expressed a preference not to have PF deductions and wishes to continue working on a consolidated salary basis. Additionally, the employee does not wish to avail any other benefits or facilities.

Could you please provide clarification on this matter?

Thank you.

First, you have to determine if the employee is covered under EPF (Employee Provident Fund) and other benefits. If the employee is not willing to adhere to the EPF coverage, you should refer to the HR policy for guidance. Will different policies be applied to different individuals based on their circumstances?

If your employee was previously a member of EPF, then he will remain a member of EPF even if their basic salary is out of PF coverage. You can deduct his PF on Rs 15,000. However, if his age is 58+ or he has never been a member of the EPF scheme previously, then he can be exempt from the EPF scheme.
