Hi Totally unheard of such leaves being encashed on monthly basis, it does not make any sense. Try to go through the state Shops & Establishment Act to get details. Thanks and Regards

There is no provision for monthly encashment of leave as it destroys the very idea behind providing leave, that is providing the physical body its much-needed rest.

The Maharashtra State Shop does not provide for monthly encashment of PL. However, it requires encashment of the balance PL upon termination of employment.

There is no provision for leave encashment in either the Shop Act or the Factories Act. However, accumulated leave can be encashed upon leaving the organization. Many companies do encash leave every year, subject to a maximum of 30 days, sometimes at the beginning of the year. Nevertheless, there is no provision for monthly encashment.
