Hi Totally unheard of such leaves being encashed on monthly basis, it does not make any sense. Try to go through the state Shops & Establishment Act to get details. Thanks and Regards

There is no provision for monthly encashment of leave as it destroys the very idea behind providing leave, that is providing the physical body its much-needed rest.

The Maharashtra State Shop does not provide for monthly encashment of PL. But it requires encashment of balance PL on termination of employment.

There is no provision for leave encashment either in shop Act or factories Act. However accumulated leave can be encashed at the time on leaving the organization. Yet many companies do encash the every year subject to maximum of 30 days some time in begining of the year. However there is no provision for monthly encasement.
