Dear Team,

Can someone help me out to change the contact number given in EPFO? If an employee has lost the mobile number provided in EPFO and needs to update a new mobile number, what is the procedure? The employee wants to check their balance online, but the OTP is being sent to the old mobile number which they no longer have.

If employee UAN activated you can update mobile number.you should open uan profile in epfo,click the modifiaction and update the mobile number in epfo.

Go to unified member portal, go to forgot password. When it asks to send OTP to a mobile, then ask to change the mobile number. It will request for more data. Validate the data and verify the UAN with PAN or Aadhaar. The OTP will be sent to the new number. Set your password now.

I am receiving a message stating, "The above information provided does not match the information available in the system. Kindly contact the EPFO Office." Can you suggest how to proceed with this?

means the UAN data is incorrect try to link the PAN and aadhaar data from employer portal and verify it with DSC then try again from member portal
