Dear Team,
We have OS as Manger - TL - Execution team. Organisation has some OLD staff who have joined long back and been with company during thick & thin's of company. Now Company is growing well and have deployed New Managers to run organisation more efficiently. Some employees who were expert in their work prior; have reporting managers now, whom they have to report daily work too. These set of employees are not willing to send daily report to managers. As of now Manger's dont have issue with same, but management is not happy with such kind of work culture, which may spoil rest teams performance also.
So, management have asked HR to take call on such employees who dont want to report to managers and have told to give warning to such staff who still have EGO to report to manager.
Kindly advice how to deal with such employees. or what action HR can take or advice management for same.
It would be great if any experts share their contact no to discuss further or more elaboration required on above.
Thanks
Sharayu

Hi
It seems that you have already prejudged the issue to the extent that you feel that the senior personnel in your organization have ego issues etc. Instead of coming or rather jumping into conclusion why not have an open meeting with those who you think have such issue along with the management and try to explain the rationale behind making the new employees as Reporting Managers . Much of the bad blood can be stopped if one stops acting on assumptions than real issues, even if there is one.
Ego is not an issue but only an inflated ego is, try to be in their shoes and understand their concerns which is one of the areas of HR in any company and get to the solution even if it is not easy.
Thanks and Regards

Hi, you should go for an open session with old employees, and take their inputs why they are not sending reports to new manager , knowing the root of issue is better than assumptions.
