One of My friend worked for infra company till March 2018 and submitted his resignation without giving any notice period due his personal problems and after few days he followed up with his reporting manger (HR Sr Manager) regarding his full and final amount, and he was suggested by his RM (Sr manager hr) that he should complete all the handover formalities then only he can the full and final settlement, suggested by his reporting manager my friend completed his handover formalities submitted all the documents to his reporting manager (Sr. Manger — HR) as he worked for HR Department for 8 years) Sr manager told to my friend that he will put up to MD and take the approval.
After continued follow-ups his reporting manager saying that as per the appointment letter (but the clause in the appointment letter it is up three years only) you suppose to give three months notice or three months gross salary in lieu of three months notice which that amount exactly match with my full and final amount.

Hi
It is better to go and meet the MD and listen to what he/she says to the whole issue. As there is an issue on your part[your friend, that is] by resigning without any notice, it is always better to be open to what the other person says and see if it can be settled amicably between the two of you. Confrontation has to be avoided as much as possible and after talking to the MD, who knows your friend may have a solution or at least satisfactory explanation in place. Don't jump the gun, wait and take an informed decision.

Dear Friend,
You ask your friend to get his F&F calculation sheet, if the receivables is equivalent to amount payble there is nothing to do. Your friend must have the information what he was expecting to get as remained associated with HR department.
You ask him to claim for gratuity and make an application in prescribed form as he has rendered 8 years of service.
