One of my colleague having esic. He is staying with his grandparents along with his younger brother(no parents). Now he wants to add his grandparents and brother in ESIC as dependents. Is it possible, pls confirm.

Under Clause (6A) of Section 2 of the ESI Act says that a "dependant" means any of the relatives of a deceased insured person, namely
a minor brother or an unmarried sister or a widowed sister, if a minor,
a paternal grand parent if no parent of the insured person is alive.
