Neither the Act nor the Rules are defining the spatial limit within which the First - aid box is to be kept. So the logic is that it shall be kept at the work place itself where the manufacturing process takes place and should be clearly marked in red ink against a white background so that it is conspicuous and is easily accessed when the need occurs.
