absenteeism is due to over working hours and it reduces efficiency of a person..absenteeism is also due to lack of wish to do it.......

There can many reasons for absentees. some of them are as follows,
1) Labour unrest.
2) HR policies.
3) Bad working conditions.
4) Payment imbalance.
5) less payment.
6) Over burdon.
7) Nipotism.
8) Personel problems.
You must shift the matter as there can be some "ill will" for the company.
If the same person is being absent again & again then we meed to take is seriously & investigate it. There can be some personel problem too but still we have to be careful & confirm that whrther or not that person is having some ill will. I am sharing this with you because it has happened with my company.
