Dear members request you to kindly let me know if the company is liable to pay the recruitment agency in case the company revokes the offer made to the candidate 1 week prior to the date of joining of the candidate?
A search involves weeks, months of hard-work and involves a lot of expenditure for a recruitment agency and if the Company revokes the offer made to the candidate at the last minute the company should be made liable to pay the compensation tot he candidate as well as pay the agrees fee to the recruitment agency.
Also let me know if any such clause can be mentioned in the agreement to safeguard the consulting agency in such situation and also what would be the clause.
your suggestions and advises will be greatly appreciated.
