Hi, I was working with an organization for quite a long time. They gave me a UAN no. Now I'm about to join another company and as per guidelines I have to share this UAN with my new employer. But my ex employer is not putting my date of Exit. They are saying when you apply for withdrawal or transfer we will update it and I am unable to make them understood that date of Exit simply my last working day in the organization, so why can't you put it?. But they are not understanding.
Now my question is when my new employer will link them with my UAN will that be a problem if my previous employer doesn't provide a date of Exit? Can they link with my Aadhar even though my previous employer doesn't give an exit date in epfo portal.
Please respond, it's really urgent.

But my previous employer didn't give date of Exit, and my new employer will give date of joining. So two active of nos will remain added to a single UAN at a time. Will the epfo treat it as dual employment in future?
Will I be in trouble in future for this?

Don't worry as this will be not a problem for you as your previous company will not pay any contribution on your name. As well as company need to update left and new record on monthly basis so it will be updated soon. Thus need not to worry.

I have spoken with the person concerned who take care of exit procedure and he clearly told me that when transfer or withdrawal request will be sent to them they will update automatically. I failed to make him understand that nowadays everything is online. I tried to make him understand that the way he put my joining day similarly he has to put my exit day. But perhaps his understanding is entirely different. Therefore I don't think they will put give my exit date.
However if it's not a problem as far as my career is concerned then I'm ok.

My previous employer is not mentioning my date of exit in pf. I have reminded them over phone many times but they are doing nothing about it nor they intend to do so in future. Due to this I am not able to transfer my pf in my new account.Now i have two UAN number. How to sort out this problem considering that previous organisation will not do anything. my previous employee has not update my date of exit. And when i tried to contact them i was informed that the company has changed. Anther company has taken over it. And when i tried to discuss it with that company hr he is asking for proof that i worked in that company i have company's Employee-id but not the documents. And he not ready to understand. So what should i do.
Its been three years since the company has changed. And i came to know a week ago wen i file a online claim for EPF.
