for members who already have UAN no

they have to log in with their UAN and take out a print of form
if date of exit is not given by previous employer, then they have to put the DOE and take a screenshot /pdf
print the same and submit to the present employer with NEW form 11 (one page)
this will help the present employer to link the accounts easily
if Bank and aadhar /pan is also seeded in UAN then auto trigger of transfer is also executed.

if the joining member does not have UAN, i.e frist time getting enrolled in EPFO then they can get upfront UAN generation with EPFO by visiting this portal

I tried to get UAN for new employee from upfront portal and it requires photo and signature as mandatory fields, seems little bit time taking process. May I upload Challan for October 2016 as per old process or not, please advise.

Photo and signature is optional However there is no bar to follow the old procedure and get UAN generated after filing ECR
