Hello everyone, I recently joined I was employed as an admin assistant in a certain company in Nigeria. I have worked for more than a year in this company. I accepted the job in the hope that my job description would entail a wide range of administrative duties that will give me exposure to HR & admin duties. Instead all I do is filling, registration of mails and dispatch, making of tea and serving food to my boss. I feel I am wasting my time and killing my brain as I need achallenging task that require thinking and finding solutions to issues. How do I channel this to HR as I have tried in the past but dismissed. I don't want to lose my job. I need your advice my seniors. Thanks

Volunteer to do extra jobs when chance arises.
Some employee in HR department may be on leave or unavailable,show your willingness to shoulder additional load without compromising on present tasks.
