Dear Sir,
I am the proprietor of a small scale service industry related to telecom field located at Bangalore. Currently there are about 5 regular employees on our rolls. We provide services related to telecom survey and installation.
Is there a need for us to register under the PF and ESIC act.
Are we exempted from the above formalities.
Your guidance would be highly appreciated
regards

Dear Mr. Jaisimha
You are mentioning as 5 regular employees on roles. What does it mean? Is the total employee strength is just 5 or else you have any other employees such as probation or contract.
As per ESI & PF It is clearly mentioned any type of employment irrespective of regular on roles, employees of-roles, probation employees. If total strength reaches 10 then you may have to register for ESI. for PF you need 20 employees. But still you can register on voluntary basis.
I hope you have availed the labour registration certificate
