After expiry of your notice period you will be deemed to have been relieved whether your manager accepts your resignation or not. Further send letter to your employer that you are being forced to resign by Sh.... as on .... he threatened you at about he threatened you by saying....

Do not sign any letter on back date. If you want you can send notice to them that since you are governed by Punjab shops and establishment Act wherein you are required to give only week's notice or pay of one week in lieu. Since you have already covered that period are deemed to have been relieved as on today. Even if they terminate you that is null and void. Even otherwise if you want to wait for expiry of 45 days then even if the employer terminates you without reasonable cause that will be illegal and you will be entitled upto 2 months wages as per the Act.
If they terminate you without one month's notice it will be illegal.
Thanks

Do you have receiving copy of your submitted resignation? If no then you will face problems, & if you have after expiry of your notice period you will be deemed to have been relieved whether your manager accepts your resignation.

Hello Sumita,
If I may ask, what's PIP?
Irrespective of what PIP is, like Sushil mentioned, NEVER sign anything with backdate.
You mentioned you mailed your resignation--was it from your official mail ID OR personal ID? If from official mail ID, pl forward the mail to your personal mail ID.
Looking back, I think it would have been MORE appropriate IF you had discussed your intention to resign, & the reasons thereof, with your Manager BEFORE you resigned. Saying 'personal reasons' on forums like CiteHR is one thing & saying the same thing to your boss is quite another. Presuming you said the same 'personal reasons' to your manager, no wonder he got the impression that you are upto something & the ACTUAL reason is NOT personal. However, this DOES NOT mean that whatever he did is right. It only means you could have handled it better.
Do you have any Agreement/Bond that you signed when you joined?
