Hi Everyone,
I am working with small IT firm, employees strength approx. 20. I want to add PF facility for the personnel benefits in the company. How can I add this variable to salary (mean by procedure)?? I got information that min. 25 employees are require to add this variable in the salary. Is it correct?? If not, then how many min. employees require for PF deduction in company??? What should be the percentage??
Kindly provide your valuable feedback.

To get registered in PF employee strength should be minimum 20.
you can add PF in salary after getting registered in PF.
Hire a good consultant to get registered. Be Aware as the PF and ESI officers are always ready to grab your money by any means.

Thanx for your valuable advise Ms. Vishwas & KishorPP. Recently I got confirmation that 2 employees have served their notice period, so now the employees strength is less then 20, now it is possible??
Basic salary should be Rs.15,000, its a break up variable or you are talking about full package??
Can't we register by ourself for PF?? Is it mandatory by any consultant only???
Kindly share detail. Waiting!!!!!!

If the employees strength in your firm is 20 or more, then PF is compulsory.
For less than 20 employees, PF is not compulsory but you can cover them voluntarily.
You can apply online to obtain the code Number in this link - Establishment Registration With Employer PF Organization
All other details are available in this link. This is both for voluntary coverage and compulsory coverage.
If the salary is more than 15,000/- EPS is not compulsory.
You can also encourage your employees to join the recently launched Atal Pension Yojana (APY) which is more beneficial than the existing EPS Scheme.
Hope the above answers all your doubts
