we are working in a college in Haryana. most of the employees are paid below 15000/- non teaching below 10,000/-.strength is more than 25.no pf cutting. Can we get esic membership.is there any legel authority to force employer for above said esic membership. Does education institutes are covered under this scheme. Is non PF cutting is answerable.

Please indicate the name of place or city, and name of tehsil where the college in which you are working is situated. In order to get coverage under ESI, you are required to confirm whether the area is implemented area under section 1(3) of said Act.

sir, it is in karnal (local)it self.from where to confirm about implemented area under section 1(3) of said act.Even pf benefits are given to permanent empoyees .

Dear Param Pal,
Your college is in Karnal, Haryana having strength of teaching & non teaching staff more than 25.
To your college both the PF and ESI Act are applicable.
In Haryana, ESI Act is extended to educational institutions with 10 and more employees.
If you make a complaint to RPFC and ESIC RO of your place, the respective authorities has to take cognizance of your complaint.
