Greetings!
(1)Would appreciate if someone can throw some light on compliance, pertinent clauses that should be included in the offer letter, attendance & any other pertinent information
(2)Situation is this : our client in the US needs a part timer; client does not have a registered office in India yet - how can we go about this contract with the part timer? Should my client sign up directly or we on a contract staffing model?
Thank you in advance for any pointers in addressing the above two queries

Dear Paravathy,
As you said, your client doesn't have any registered office in India, it means they are not register under the Company Act. of Indian,
Therefore, your are as service provider / contractor, you have to take employee on your payroll & give service to client.

Thank you, Tushar .... By any chance would you have inputs for the first part of my query on part time employees?
For many years we have been contracting full time employees and we are totally compliant ; would like to know the various nuances while dealing with part timers.
Thanks again & regards

Dear Paravathy,
In case of Part time, i would suggest you to go for Retainer ship rather go for employment..
Retainer ship shall not be attract any social security benefits to the same & your cost will also in reduce as well as your in project work, so, probably, there are some responsibility & time bounding toward this profile, which you may control through this relationship.
