Total Gratuty Amount ???

Dear All, Kindly let me know if an employee did service 6year 5 month, is it equal to 7 years or not? Regards C.Shivakumar

Hi, This is very hypothetical question, Because its middle no so it depends on employer how he will be consider either 6 or 7.

From gratuity point of view, no. It will not be considered as 7 years; but as 6 years only. If he completes 6 years and 6 months, then he qualifies for 7 year consideration.
