We do have 7 employees in direct contract. 1. Is it necessary to provide ESI and PF facilities? 2. Can we provide ESI facilities only.

Coverage or non-coverage of a factory/establishment under ESI Act, 1948 and EPF & MP Act, 1952 depend upon total numbers of persons employed in any premises. You have mentioned only about direct contract employees. Please see above mentioned Acts and if there is any doubt, you may submit the same indicating the point of doubt which you feel.

We have 70 employees in our organisation and we are into Sales & Service. All the employees are covered with ESI and PF ass per the act. Recently we have taken few employees in contract and we are not giving ESI and PF for them. I want to know whether it is mandatory to give ESI and PF as there are only minimum employees in contract.
