Dear Sir/ Friends,

I am working in a small scale industry in nacharam as Manager (Sales and Projects) from Nov'11.

In the year 2013 My 4 months’ salary is not paid by company. As i can understand that the company is not running well. And stopped asking salary for year 2014 months.

Due to pending Salary, my daily expenses got effected and stopped going to office and started to work from Home which I have clearly expressed to my Managing Director by mail. Which he didn’t reply. Due to company situation, I have never mentioned salary for year 2014 months.

As the managing director knows the situation, he also not requested to attend to office and asked to visit customer from home, which I is to travel without rejecting, but he never replied to my pending salary reminder mails. I have sent Appr. 4 reminders, so that I can receive replay. Gradually company stopped to assign works to me.

Due to customer visits my travel expenses are also pending with the company of Rs.37,000 other then the travel expenses, company Offered Health insurance amount of Rs.5000 is also pending. Which I have purchase from my pocket.

Total of Rs. 1,52,000 amount is pending with company. Whenever I call my managing director for salary, he just says some amount to be received in next week and will be paid. The same thing is continuing from Jan'14 to till date not even rupee paid.

I do have proofs, how much amount is available with the company account from last 5 months.

By company promise of paying monthly salary on time, I have taken home loan, which I to have pay every month.

Please help me friends in what way I can proceed. I do have all the proofs (salary pending reminders, company account balance, my travel expenses etc.)

Now I am planning to resign to company, by thinking that they will do full and final settlement. I don’t know what to do, if they are not paying in that case also.

Please help me friends, I do have a family with 7 months old baby. Now my financial situation is worst.

Hoping for the best.

I was also facing such kind of problem with my last company. It was also a small scale industry, they were also having some financial problem.
What i did i started searching a new job in a nice & well settled company. Keeping my self in a safe side this time.
Yes, after receiving my offer letter i resigned from there. But still my FNF is pending from last 3 month, part wise they are doing. I always give them a reminder call / message to them .
In this new company i am very happy, getting my salary on time.
Thanks,

Hello Kranthi Varma,

Like Jyotshna mentioned, First & Foremost, begin to look for another job ASAP.

While keeping faith & trust in someone--whether it's a Company or an individual--one needs to draw the line somewhere. A sort of trade-off between 'understanding' other's problems & 'pragmatism'--you owe your FAMILY much MORE than the Company.

Since the Company does seem to have GENUINE financial problem, I don't think it will help you in any way to keep harping on the Dues/Arrears. That DOESN'T mean that you need to forget them.

Suggest meet your MD once, discuss with empathy about the Company's problems AS WELL AS your family situation & get something in writing of how much is due to you. IF the financial situation is INDEED bad due to something beyond the MD's control, he would appreciate your step

This will also help you to keep the channels of communication open--after all you are into Sales [guess you know better how this can help you in the long-term].

Since you haven't mentioned the Sector/Domain your Company is into, I can't comment on the prospects about the chances of the Company fortunes reviving--meaning whether it's practical for you to really expect the Dues later-on. Some Sectors are doing badly now.

And to repeat, look for another job ASAP.

All the Best.
