Research shows that workers come on the job already motivated, and common business practices rob them of it. The researchers offer some tools to reverse this process.
“Most companies have it all wrong. They don’t have to motivate their employees. They have to stop de-motivating them.”
Can any one sugges how to overcome this...???

THE ABOVE IS REALLY TRUE,,,
ACTUALLY THERE IS NO NEED OF COMPANY TO MOTIVATE WORKERS<
ANY PERSON GETS EXCITED AND MOTIVATED WHEN HE JOINS AN ORGANISATION IT IS THE HR WHICH DEMOTIVATES AN EMPLOYEE WITH THEIR POLICIES AND THEN SHOW THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON CAUSES OF ATTRITION .
HR ITSELF IS A REASON FOR ATTRITION.
AND FIRST HR SHOULD IMPROVE ITSELF AND THEN IMPROVE THE EMPLOYEES AND COMPANY.
WHAT YOU hAVE SAID FRIEND ID REALLY TRUE.

Dear Friend,
HR makes policy to keep the smooth running of the company and to secure the interest of the empoyees. As per human nature none want to get binded. If by putting policy aside no company could grow and it's effect will be on employee. Like our society, we have predetermined and unwritten beliefs and good fundas based on that our society runs. If we allow any person to behave in any way he likes than our society and social system will be in trouble. likewise for the protection of the good employees' interest HR formulates policies. Moreover HR has hundreds of ways to motivate the employee we can find a way.....
I have put my general views if u have different that pl reply

I would agree with Ravi that HR is the one who mkes or breaks the motivation levelsTake an organisatioin earning clos to 500 crores annually, witha proper functional HR department.A new employee joins in. He waits for a seat to be allocated to him. That is done by the afternoon, a telephone without outgoing facility appears by the evening. He has to request the HR to arrange for outgoing since his is a sales job.His Visiting cards arrive at theend of Week OneWhere will that leave you if you were him?
