Dear Seniors,
I understand that minimum an employee needs to be in continuous service for more than 5 years to claim gratuity. I also know that we round off the no of years to months in for gratuity calculation. Does that mean if an employee has worked for 4 years and 8 month he too is eligible for gratuity as the years of service can be rounded up to \"5\".
Kindly advise.
