Dear Mr. Rao,
There is no minimum working day requirement for crediting the CL in any employees a/c. When an employee joins any new organization, then from the first day, the employee will be entitled for CL & SL as the Labour Law of the state.
Whereas, on the question of FnF of seven days, then there is no FnF required of 7 days service. Although, you can go ahead as per your company policy.

Please see the following points :
1) if any individual work for 1 day and next day he takes CL and 3rd day he leaves the companys then he is eligible for 2days salary in full and final?
2) Is it reasonable?
3) We can not deduct salary since there is no minimum working day requirement for availing CL.
4) Full and final is must even if it is for 1 day as we can not deny the salary of any individual even though it is for one day.

If an employee joins, works for oneday and takes leave and resigns third day he is eligible for oneday salary only. This is because any leave is applicable to the employees who is in contiunuous service. when works for a day takes leave and goes means there is no contiunity of contract of employment and he is supposed to have resigned on second day itself.
I hope my colleagues will give feedback on my view.

Dear Mr.K J Rao,
Further to my view on querry raised by you i also wish to bring to your knowledge that even though there is no requriment of working days for CL eligibility in practice for all purpose a CL is allowed after the employee works for two weeks and more.
Thanking you,

Dear Mr. Jagan,
1. If any individual work for 1 day and next day he takes an pre-approved CL and 3rd day he leaves the companys then he is eligible for 2 days salary. But, if the CL is not approved then he is
eligible of 1 day salary only.
2. In my opinion, yes, it is reasonable.
3. We can not deduct salary since the CL is already approved. But, if the CL is not approved then we can deduct that one day.
4. FnF is just not only for clearing the due wages, it is for settlement of all such dues like Gratuity, Leaves Encasement, Bonus, LTA, Mediclaim and other earning as well as Reimbursement, if any.
As in this case, which is not required. So, it is better to pay the earned wages through Voucher, and the payment can be made by cheque.
Hope this will help you.

Dear Mr. Mohan,
I agree that as per S&E Act, an employee who has completed a period of one month in continuous employment, shall be entitled to not less than one day's casual leave for every month but nowdays most of the companies do credit the eligible leaves in advance.
In some of the companies, there is a policy to credit 1day leave for every 11working days. Is there any basis of this 11working days?
