Dear Sheetal, if you want to specialize in Training (and there are many opportunities nowadays with more and more organizations recognizing the need for talent development), then this is probably a start to pick up the basic skills. However, as an MBA in HR, in order to grow in T&D, you must, at some point, look at shifting to more corporate-oriented programs like soft skills, basic behavioral programs, or even product/process training.
You have not mentioned your year of MBA completion and how long you have been working in your current profile, but if you have recently completed your MBA and started with this job, stick around a couple of months and pick up the basic skills but be on the lookout for other, more diverse, opportunities.
Regards,
Manish.
