Dear Members,
I had worked in a organisation for 5 years and 7 months.I had resigned in Jun 13 properly, was relieved and paid for the notice period. But as per the rules they have not paid my Gratuity.
I was entitled for PF since the day i joined the Organisation.
So pls suggest me that can I send them any notice / Registered Letter to pay the Gratuity.
Though the Gratuity part was no where mentioned in Appointment Letter.

HI Geeta,
Did you discuss the case with the HR of the firm?
Ideally I would suggest you to go to the office and meet the HR in person and tell them that your Gratuity amount is not been received by your.
If they say it would take some time to clear the payments, tell them if they can mention it over the F&F receipt or so.
If no, then you can mail them over the company'a mail stating that you resigned on DATE, relieved on DATE and your F&F was done on DATE. Since the gratuity amount was missing even after serving a total of 5.7 years, I raised a query regarding same. I was told ..........................
Hence I would request you to personally look into the matter and solve the issue asap.

Did they give you any slip or reciept or something against the F&F payment they made to you? How did they pay you? How have they ensured that payment has been received by you?

Dear Ankita, They have paid my salary through cheque but no slip was made to me or didn’t I sign any F&F Documents.

Dear Geeta,
It is strange that they didn't give you F&F letter or made you sign on payment slip or whatever...
I would instead suggest you to seek advise from seniors instead as I am unaware of what should be done in such situation taking into consideration only limited experience I have currently.
