In my contract it is clearly mentioned that "Your service may be terminated by the Company at any time with three months notice on either side or payment of three month\'s salary in lieu thereof."
My question is that if I gives my resignation with 3 months notice, whether company is bound to accept the same or they may accept my resignation without accepting notice period? In option two, can I claim for 3 month's notice pay?

Unless the totality of your 'Employment Contract' is made available, it may be short sighted to give you an authentic advice.

The company can take the notice period of 3 months or can relieve you immediately on receipt of the resignation, one cannot force that you have to pay the notice period salary entirely. If e.g. after your resignation an employee got shortlisted within 15 days and joins the company after 1 month and takes all the handover from you within 15 days which in totality comes to 60 days, so the company can relieve you after paying you for 60 days why the company should take the extra burden of paying your salary for another 30 days. Similar is the case of your in case if your new employer want you to join them within one month, you can work for one month and pay for 60 days and get releived.
Hope this clears your doubt.
