Bare Act means a book containing the original law with amendments if any. These Bare Act books pertain to most of the popular laws say Law of Contracts, Insurance, Cpc, Crpc, etc, etc. If you go to any leading law book store and ask him bare act for say PF, he will give you the book.
Usually these books are less expensive but for a fresher you will find reading a bare Act a bit difficult.
