Dear Mathu,
If an employees has Basic + DA is more than Rs. 6500 then if employee & employer wants not to deduct his PF he can. The only way is to fill up form no. 11 & same is also intimate to PF office.

If a person was having EPF membership in his earlier employment before joining new estt., and has not withdrawn the benefits, then new employer is statutorily bound to continue his membership irrespective of salary limit in new estt.
There is no option to employee or employer for not continuing the membership in such a case.
