dear friends,
my company has garment stores in 3 state from few months we are facing a problem when employee want to quit the company he is taking cash from store sale or some done major consipracy, due to control that we have start to take 4 blank cheque as a security from every store employee that will be return on his separation from company. I want to clear my below points;
a)is employee can take any legal action against us? or
b) is we can take a employee to court in case he done some fraud and there is no cash in his account from where we can recover the loss.

In addition to this, you can also deduct a fix amount of Salary (Like 10% Per month) for the security purpose.
It will can fulfill your loss if employee is leaving the company without notice period.
