Hi Ms. Uma. As Ashok suggested for recruiters there are incentives based on the target & achievements with fixed pay. For others I don’t think as there is any incentives.

Dear Uma,
Your question is just like a joke, Any employee can be paid incentive for any action or omission if management wish to pay him/her. Incentive can be paid for sitting late hours. Finding good workers. Luring employees of competitors and so on. To pay incentive there is no law and can be paid for any thing. On joining it can be paid as joining incentive's. So there is no legal limitation which stops any company to pay any incentive.

Hi Uma,
Incentive may be given to any employee on the based of performance. % for fixed may be decided by management on the basis of his/her performance against job profile given to him/her.
It will be taxable and will be added in the salary at the time of computation the tax liability.

Hi Uma, Incentive are only given for the employees who are into Recruitments. Incentives depends from company to company. Apart from that we generally have Fixed Pay in HR Dept.

Dear Uma,
Your doubt is not clear to me. Wh the HR people get an incentive..... ? I mean they are also the emplopyees of th company and they are not on contracts I hope. Incentive means people works with extraordinary performance. If any employee works like this they he/she will get with the proper approval of the HOD. On what basis you are asking I do not know. Pl. send a mail to my mail ID :
