Hi,
I have joined a small manufacturing company recently as an HR Professional. Initially I worked as an HR in Software Industry, where I was mostly dealing with recruitments, hence I find things are quite different. I need to know the actual roles and responsibilities in an SSI.
Please advice.

Hi,
In manufactering organizations the things are different when compare IT industry. anyway find the below the roles and responsbilities of Manufactering.
1. Attendence
2. Salary Statement
3. ESI & PF
4. TDS
5. Employee Engagement Activities
6. Safety Precautions
please check the files whether all employees are appointment letters or not and filling details also.
More over in manufactering you need to take care unskilled employees and the unskilled employees are prequently asking about thier salary issues even though we are in right part because they are not aware of policies.
They knows they are working they required salary, they will not worry all our policies.
Better to find out the expenditure of human capital like stationary, consultant fees, tea & water consumption, rent, fuel, power, housekeeping, security services and statutory.
