Hello Wise People,
My present designation is Executive-HR but my MD suggested a new designation "Administrator", inorder to co-ordinate with other administrative work in office. But wont this "administrator" tag be quite harmful for my career prospects? Please gimme your suggestions.
Awaiting for your responses.
Regards,
Deebv.

Hi Deebv,
I dont think so, but it gonna be an added advantage for ur profile. Please carry on with ur HR work including this administrator job. It will give an weight to your resume also.

Hi Sai,
So how should my new designation look Executive HR cum Administrator or just Administrator or can you suggest a new designation which includes HR jobs + Administrative work?
Because i have always knew the progress in HR dept would be:
Executive HR------ Sr. Executive HR------- Asst Manager HR------ Manager HR------- General Manger HR
But where will "administrator" come in this aspect?

Hi!!
Yeah you can use Executive HR/Administrator as desigantion..And see when you go further into your career this administration knowledge will be an added advantage for you.. you can be a HR Manager someday and this admin knowledge will help you other way around too. so dont look into designations...

Hi Deebv
As suggested by Sai it is better you have designations as Executive HR/Admin. As HR hierarchy even admin has hierarchy as Admin-Admin Manager
Once again Admin is part of HR in many of the organisations.
