Hi All,
Can anyone suggest some good investment plans with its benefits to share with my employees. This is in the verge to suggest employees about the best investment plans available in the market which will exempt tax. Some of the employees are in dilemma as to which investment plan they can actually opt in order to avail tax exemption. Hope this helps them to make quick decisions. Awaiting for your suggesions.

I would suggest a mix of strategy for investment: Beginning with
1. Life Insurance By Lic " Plan name : Jeevan Anand" Where you get the amount with interest back on Maturity and free coverage for life after that. This is lic's best selling plan. Govt Guaranteed.
Then divide the Money in 4 parts
1st part : PPF
2nd Part: Fixed deposit
3rd part: Equity/Mutual funds.
4th part: Monthly expenses...
This combination will take care of Insurance ( LIC) , retirement ( PPF ), Equity ( Long term benefits ) , liquidity ( FD as its easy to break ).

In addition to 1L exemption under Sec. 80 C, 20K is exempted under Sec 80 CCF (infra bonds). Contribution made to NPS (New Pension Scheme) upto 10% of basic + DA is also exempted thru employer side.

In LIC there are two types of investing patterns one is traditional like conventional plans Jeevan Anand where there is a life long free coverage besides maturity returns.IT exemption is as usual depends on your annual income, you may come in the slab of 20% or 30%.
And the second option is investing in ULIPs where the amount goes to certain percentage to equities depends on the Fund you choose. In this the risk of portfolio will be borne by the policy holder, and also lock-in period for 5years.
