Can any one help me in understanding Stretch Tool for PMS planning..
till now , what i have learnt and understood is :-
Stretch is the degree of difficulty built into the target at the time of performance planning
Ensures uniformity in degree of loading of targets
Ensures balance across similar roles
Average stretch in a reporting group controlled
Dimensions of Stretch
Target relative to previous years achievement
Dependence of uncontrollables
Complexity
Skill requirements
Need for Innovation
But can anyone give me a clear picture of how to use this in my PMS plan.. Any sort of plan, or simple sketch , showing its calculation and steps followed in planning the pms would be of great help, because i am really finding it difficult to implement in planning session , as i haven't seen how it works in any company pms planning session..Practical example would be of great help..

Dear Soumik,
If other do as much homework as you and express what they have dome, like you have, then they also will get real help. It's a pity that many students seek help with ONE-LINE requests.
