Dear Friends.
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM
machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM
recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed
in
the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the
robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is
seldom used because people don't know it exists.

Hi,
In which movie did they show this? Was just kidding. I am not sure whether this is being practiced here in India. Its in practice in foreign countries.
Hope it's in practice in India as well. That would be a good news to all of us.

Dear All,
Regarding your query in respect of 'ATM' pin with same numbers i.e. 2222.
The clarification is.
" ATM PIN is generated by the System Owner of a particular Bank and an
individual person unable to
change this PIN. In case the person wants to change his ATM Pin he has to
request to the Bank to change the ATM Pin. Hence the system take
care not to generate repetitive number code which
does not serve the purpose of tracing the culprits.
