Dear Sir, Madam, HR Professionals,
Please provide me the format of Temporary Suspension Letter as I have to give to an employee who wishes to go on a leave for nearly a month.
Our management has approved this type of leave & I have been assigned to provide such type of letter to the employee.
Please do the needful at the earliest.

Hi Vinayak,
Unable to understand to issue a temporary suspension letter when an employee wants to go on one month leave. This is illegal and unethical, your management can sanction it with out pay or refuse the leave and ask him to report for duty failing which you can proceed action on the basis of absconding from duty but you can not issue a temporary suspension letter. You are inviting legal issues by issuing such letters.

Dear Kamesh Sir,
Thanks for your kind reply. But can you suggest some other option. As the employee wants this on paper. He is arguing if what happens if we are not taking him back to organisation. He wants some evidence against the same. Even I am familier with you that this is illegal. But I have no other option.
Please help me in this matter.

Ask him to apply leave in writing briefing the requirement and submit on the same paper you can write that " considering the exegencies the leave is accepted on loss of pay ground" sign & give a xerox copy to him after obtaining his signature.
If he arugues then tell him that no paper will be given and the leave is not acceptable hence continue to work. Let him choose either or. Leave is not a right of the employee that too that much long leave & with out pay he can not demand.
