Today I read a ‘News item’ titled “Bring corporates under Lokpal to check graft”, which goes on to say : “As the Lokpal debate rages, the Central Vigilance Commission feels corporates should be brought under the purview of the proposed anti-corruption bill to check graft effectively. . . .”
It goes on to say : ”. . At present CVC has no power to check corruption in private firms. . . .”
The ‘full News item” can be read at : http://www.deccanherald.com/content/191740/bring-corporates-lokpal-check-graft.html
(In the ‘context’ of the “News item’, I wanted to share with you a ‘pps’. But the 'Querry Window' has no provision for it. I'll wait for the 'Thread' to get started.)
Responses/Comments ?

I'll give it a try AGAIN - by 'clicking' on "Manage Attachments" - the same way I did earlier and hope it gets 'uploaded' to reach 'viewers' !
IS THERE ANY OTHER METHOD I CAN "ATTACH" THE 'pps' ? I'm NOT 'computer savvy' and so will appreciate HELP.

From India, Pune
I’ll settle for SELF-HELP - and I’ve re-tried to UPLOAD ! Hope it 'behaves' this time !
From India, Pune
I’m SURE I used the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS 'TAB' CORRECTLY Wonder what went wrong - in my trials to 'attach' the 'pps'. Looks like I should give-up trying - as NO HELP comes from others !
From India, Pune
My efforts to UPLOAD the 'pps' have failed and there is no help from others.
So, I WRITE further - on the 'Subject' :
It’s High-Time for INTROSPECTION !

What is CORRUPTION ?

CASH/KIND exchanged for some FAVOR (‘exchange’ is used to
mean ‘given’ or ‘taken’ - as, CORRUNPTION is a two-way-street’ !)

Hindi Dictionary gives the meaning for Corruption/Corrupt as :
saDana, bigADa, vyabhichAra, doShaNa, bhrashtaachaar, bhrashtatha, khoTApana, ghUsa, etc.

I have - MY OWN – ‘all-encompassing definition’ :

“DOING or INDULGING-in dishonest/deceitful/wasteful/un-fair ACTIONS which create LOSS/DAMAGE/DEPRIVATION/DIS-CONTENT/SADNESS ETC., to ANYONE – Individual, Family, Friends, Society, Employer, Employee, Customer, Supplier,
Organization, Country, etc., etc. – in ANY MANNER”

Simply stated, CORRUPTION is ‘ACTION SANS INTEGRITY’ !

Anna Hazare said, – on Aug. 28, 2011 – to the effect :
“It is NOT ENOUGH if you wear-ANNA-cap. YOU must follow‘ clean principles too’ !”
I’m sure he referred to VICHAR (Thoughts/thinking),
ACHAR (Actions/deeds), VYAVAHAR (Communication/Dealings)

‘INTROSPECTION’ is all about ASKING/TELLING ONESELF – with CONVICTION & CONFIDENCE & COURAGE – the following :

· I HAVE UNDERSTOOD the broader meaning of ‘Corruption’
· I have the ‘courage’ to ask myself ‘Am I Corrupt’ ?’
· I am NOT Corrupt
· I say “NO” when someone tries to Corrupt me
· I WILL tell others “DO NOT be Corrupt” & DO NOT ‘Corrupt’
· I WILL correct myself – IF I am ‘Corrupt’.

Is there HOPE for Individuals in ‘CORPORATE SECTOR’ and so the ‘CORPORATE SECTOR’ to become CORRUPTION-FREE ?

From India, Pune
"CORRUPTION" has - unfortunately - come to be a EXPECTED/ACCEPTED FACT in the Government Departments, PSUs, Private Sectors, etc.
There has been quite some responses giving hues/views - on "WHAT & WHICH" of CORRUPTION.

Now, HOW ABOUT 'inputs' on :
1) WHAT SOLUTIONS can be THOUGHT OF and HOW THEY ARE TO BE IMPLEMENTED in the Corporate Sectors, Government Departments?

2) WHAT CAN/SHOULD/WILL the PEOPLE - in the Corporate Sectors, Government Departments, the HR Consultants, and, Trainers/Faculty - WHO 'EXCHANGES VIEWS' on "CiteHR" DO, to bring-about a state of "NO-CORRUPTION" (both ways - 'give' and 'take') in the Corporate Sectors, Government Departments they work in or have 'dealings' with ?
Responses to THIS please - as it MAY throw-up SOLUTIONS instead of 'perpetuating the problem/situation ?

From India, Pune
Hard to believe there are NO responses to this ! Is it TOO DELICATE to 'address' VIEWS/HUES ? Or, should CORRUPTION be NURTURED/PERPETUATED ?
