Greetings!
Can you please advice as to how many gazetted/restricted holidays should be there in an organization apart from national holidays.Also please let me know which days should be considered as gazetted holidays. Moreover I know that it varies from state to state.Our office is located at Delhi,Mumbai,Chennai,Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Please provide me guidance on this aspect ASAP as I urgently need to prepare a draft policy in this regard.

Can u advise me suppose, an employee is not coming 09 & 11 and 10th is National Holiday. So, this situation hoiday will be given or not ??
2nd is an employee absent from 1st aug to 31st aug (whole month) 15th Aug (National Holiday) given or not ??

Hi Chander, For the first query it will be consider 3 days leave.And for the second query the leave will be 31 days. Regards, Shradha Gupta

Hi,
It depends on Policies too. We have a policy that if Earned Leaves(EL) are to be considered, then National Holidays/ weekly offs won't be considered as a part of earned leaves. The deduction will be only of the working days.
