Hello,
I had taken a break due to personal reasons with 9 yrs of IT Experiance as Project Manager. I am B.E.(Electronics) and PMP certified. I have worked with Tier 1 companies. After 1 year of break I started with Freelancing work and have worked on assigments for 1.5 years. Now I would like to get back to full time employment.
I have started applying through job portals however unable to get interview calls so far.
I am very keen on getting back to IT. Your guidance would be most appriciated regarding resuming my career. Would corrospondence MBA add value to my profile?

Hi Neha,
Correspondence MBA is useful in cases where you are already working for a company and the only thing standing between you and the next promotion is an MBA certification.
For a new job however, you will be competing with those who have done full time MBA in which case the odds are stacked against you.
If you are serious about getting back in the industry, don't wait for responses through a job portal. Statistically, job portals are the worst since only a fraction of members get jobs. You need to send your resume directly to companies and keep in touch with your buddies in the industry to notify you whenever there is an opening.
In other words, networking is the best way to get the cream jobs, which almost never get advertised. Also, your buddies might get a bonus for referring you if you get hired.
All the best
